This Valley home needed help front and back. Behind the house, we planted a row of privacy shrubs along the block wall around the pool, then filled the beds with fresh rock and flowering shrubs so the wall disappears behind green over time.
A small artificial turf lawn with paver stepping stones gives the side of the pool a soft spot to walk and play, and the rest of the yard stays in low-water rock.
Out front, a bare dirt yard became a finished desert landscape. We graded the yard, laid a dry riverbed of river rock through the middle, spread decomposed granite and planted desert shrubs and accents. The photos show the front yard mid-install and finished.
