Natural stone walls in warm, cut-face limestone were built along the back of the house to create raised planting beds and a clean edge between the house and the yard.
One wall runs alongside a wood deck, holding a raised bed at seating height. Stone slab steps climb a grade change near a large shade tree.
Along the side of the house, large flagstone stepping stones lead through a new planting bed beside the stone wall, and the surrounding lawn was seeded.
