This lakefront yard needed a stable, finished shoreline. We regraded the slope down to the shoreline, then placed a band of riprap stone along the water's edge to protect the bank from waves and ice.
Above the stone, the yard was seeded and stabilized so the lawn runs cleanly down to the lake. The new shoreline looks natural, holds the bank in place and keeps the lake view open.
