A set of curved, stacked paver steps was built to connect a door to a new paver patio below.
The steps use dark charcoal paver caps with a rock-face edge, set in a sweeping half-circle so the stairs fan out onto the patio. Dark block caps bookend the steps on each side.
The patio is laid in a light gray multi-size paver pattern with a dark border band that follows the curve of the bottom step.
This wooded backyard sloped away from the house, so we built a raised paver patio held up by block retaining walls. A wide set of block steps runs down the front, making the patio easy to get to from the yard and giving it a grand, finished look.
The patio creates a large, level space for outdoor furniture right off the house, in a yard that had no flat ground before.
