These stunning patios are built by carefully fitting natural stones together while ensuring proper drainage and joint widths. Each piece is typically constructed from flagstone, weighing between 50 and 300 pounds. To maximize the life of your patio, we use a 6-inch base, fabric, leveling layer, and polymeric sand to seal the joints and prevent weed growth. While natural stone patios are labor-intensive, they are an extremely durable and stylish option your family is sure to love.

Paver Patios

Paver patios are a little simpler than natural stone due to their consistent shape and size. Pavers typically range from 4×8 inches to 18×18 inches and are available in a multitude of different shapes, colors, and textures. In general, you can expect smaller pavers to be cheaper and the larger ones to be more expensive. These patios are also installed using geotextile fabric to prevent weeds, along with polymeric sand to harden joints and avoid loose sand. Pavers are excellent for Minnesota weather since they handle freeze-thaw cycles well and are easy to repair if necessary.
